OVER MY DEAD BODY is a gripping drama story of Boona, who is on her senior six education vacation and her parents Mbogo, a high school teacher and Ngoma, a house wife who are both torn between continuing ahead with their daughters University education or giving her away to Tomusange, a wealthy old man whom she claims to love. Amidst all this, there is an inhouse battle regarding their family financial woes.

Over My Dead Body was inspired by Violet Barungi’s deep concern for girls who are lured into early marriages to rich men before they finish their education. When things go wrong, and their marriages fail, they find themselves without anything to fall back on.
