Zizi is an adventurous and curious five-year-old girl. Her best friend, Hannibal, is a bumbling, fun loving Hippo. Together they explore the beautiful places of Africa and meet all the wonderful animals that live there. S1 E1

Zizi is trying very hard to get some avocados. She climbs up the ladder and Gogo tells her that there is an animal taller that the trees, Zizi is curious about this animal. Zizi and Hannibal go to the World of Wonders and try to get some fruits from the trees. They meet Jerry the Giraffe. They are amazed by how tall he is and he tells them they can be tall too. After the experience of being tall Zizi concludes that she prefers being short.

S1 E2

Zizi had a dream about a zebra who taught her how to sow. Zizi is sun burnt and she is sad because her skin has two colors. Gogo tells her to imagine how embarrassed Zebra would be if she. Zizi is curious about how Zebra got her stripes. She travels to the World of Wonders. They see Zibby and other zebras who are getting ready for a fashion show. They help with fashion show in exchange for all the answers they want from Zibby. They get to see how unique each zebra is.

S1 E3

IN the Word of Wonders, Zizi and Hannibal meet a Bush Baby. Zizi thinks he is cute. But Bush Baby challenges her to try and do all the things he does.

S1 E4

Zizi is trying to put a bed together and she is failing. Gogo encourages her not to give up but to try other solutions. Zizi and Hannibal enjoy the magical slide in the World of Wonders, they meet Macherry who is building a hammock. Macherry gets to patiently teach Zizi how to knit, they fail and Macherry suggests they find other solutions. Back at Gogo’s house Zizi find a solution for the bed, and it works!

S1 E5

Zizi is trying to make a cake, and Gogo thinks she is too young to use the oven. Zizi stubbornly tries to make a cake on her own and leaves a mess. In the World of Wonders they meet a baboon who is collecting fruit. They help him fill the basket. They start playing instead of picking up the fruit. Zizi is sorry and she offers to help clean up. Zizi apologises to Gogo for leaving the mess and she cleans up.

S1 E6

Zizi wants to eat a lot of biscuits; Gogo knows best and say sugar is not good for our bodies. Zizi is not happy. At the World of Wonders Zizi still thinking about what Gogo said about “Too much of a good thing” They see Honey Badger who is stuck, and they try to help him out using the marshmallow Train. Honey badger is grateful they helped him. Honey badger takes them home and gives them the tastiest marshmallows ever. Zizi is feeling sick from eating too much and she realizes Gogo was right, you can’t have too much of a good thing.

S1 E7

Zizi thinks the World of Wonders is boring and they try to do something they have not done before. They decide to explore more and travel to the moon, but Hannibal is not keen. Zizi sees Fun Wildebeest who is bored too and helps him get down the tree. Hannibal meets Safe Wildebeest who helps him collect flowers while Zizi and Fun Wildebeest are in the moon. Later the four friends re unite and are having fun together

S1 E8

Zizi is watering the cabbage in Gogo’s garden and she ends up getting wet. Zizi is frustrated by Gogo who tells her what to do and decides to go to the World of Wonders with Hannibal. They meet Buffy who has also ran away from her mother. They decide to play hide and seek. Hannibal is lost and while he is looking for Zizi and Buffy he meets Mama Buffalo who helps him find them. Buffy is happy to reunite with his mom.

S1 E9

Zizi is frantic, looking for Hannibal. She is suspecting that the neighbor’s dog might have taken him. Gogo tells her she may be wrong and that dogs are caring animals. She goes for an adventure to the World of Wonders and meets Penny the painted dog who helps her look for Hannibal. They found him laying under the pawpaw tree and she is ecstatic.

S1 E10

Zizi is teaching herself how to drum on Gogo’s pans. Gogo is not happy about the noise, and she tells her to go play outside. Gogo suggests that they find a Gorilla who will help her with rhythm. In the World of Wonders Zizi hears some noise and they’re following it trying to figure out where it comes from. They meet Gorilla who teaches Zizi how to play the drums.

S1 E11

Zizi sees a leopard toad on the edge of the pond, she is prompted to see a real leopard with spots. As they float on a cloud they see Ingwe, the leopard performing on stage. They become friends with the leopard.

S1 E12

Zizi is bored and after trying everything Gogo tells her to use her imagination like she always does. They see a hyena laughing at his own jokes. Zizi suggests they have a joke competition. They end up having so much fun, laughing and playing. Hyena tells Zizi that an adventure is not found but made.

S1 E13

Gogo is telling Zizi a story of how Rhino’s got their horns in their nose. Zizi wishes she could see a Rhino and she asks the Jackalberry tree and is transported to the World of Wonders where she and Hannibal meet Rhino and Oxy.

S2 E1

Zizi is trying to find Gogo and fails. Gogo reappears and claims she hides like a chameleon. She explains what a chameleon is to Zizi and she is intrigued. She goes on an adventure, and she and Hannibal meet Cammie the chameleon who intrigues them further by changing colors.

S2 E2

Zizi sees a swallow on the nest at Gogos’s house. Gogo tells her that they migrate to Europe in Winter and come to Africa in Summer. Gogo suggests that she goes to visit Meerkat manor, to see how they live. In the Kalahari Dessert, on the dunes they meet Dipu who takes them to the manor to see how they live and to meet other meerkats.

S2 E3

A monkey jumps inside Gogo’s kitchen and steals fruit while Zizi and Gogo watch. Zizi is not happy about the stealing so she runs after it and vowing to teach the monkey a lesson.At the World of Wonders Zizi encounters a troop of monkeys including the little monkey who stole from them. They all learn how humans and monkeys can be kind to one another.

S2 E4

Zizi flies into the World of Wonders, they find Ostrich trying to learn how to fly. Zizi and Hannibal offer to help, telling her anything is possibly in the World of Wonders. After attempting and failing they figure out that even though ostriches can’t fly, are some of the fastest animals on earth.

S2 E5

Zizi gets teased for always having Hannibal with her. She is upset that people think that Hannibal is not real. Gogo tells her she is in good company, a lot of animals in the world have strange friendships, especially the crocodile and the Egyptian Plover. Zizi is intrigued.

S2 E6

Zizi decides to give Hannibal a bath. He is very muddy, and he stinks. Zizi has a hard time finding enough water because Hannibal is big. Gogo tells her to find an elephant who will help. At the World of Wonders Zizi finds Mr Elephant who gives Hannibal a nice watery bath.

S2 E7

Zizi learns that the cheetah is the fastest animal in the world, she is curious, and Gogo asks her to use her imagination. In the World of Wonders while Zizi and Hannibal are admiring nature, listening to Harry the hare they see Rita the Cheetah chilling on the tree. They become friends and get to race against her.

S2 E8

Zizi is sad thinking she is not beautiful, because of her clothes. She begs Gogo to buy her beautiful clothes. Gogo tells her she is already beautiful. Zizi and Hannibal travel to the World of Wonders. They meet Wendy who tells them they are beautiful. Zizi is not convinced. The warthog shows Zizi how she looks after herself to stay beautiful. Zizi tries new outfits; Hannibal is not happy and so is Zizi. Zizi believes she is beautiful with her normal clothes.

S2 E9

Gogo is in the kitchen and Zizi shows Gogo a shongololo they have found. Gogo tells Zizi about what they are about and explain that the name shongololo comes from rolling up. Gogo tells Zizi about another rollup animal – a pangolin. Zizi Wishes to see one. Gogo tells her to use her imagination. Zizi and Hannibal in the World of Wonders are trying to find a pangolin. They meet Pangolin and they get to ask questions and they feel lucky to have met him.

S2 E10

Gogo lowers Zizi’s bicycle seat after she said she can’t ride it because the seat was high. Gozo encourages her to learn to cycle because practice makes easy. In the World of Wonders Zizi and Hannibal are riding a bike and they see a forest with all the fruit. They meet Latifah who tells them they are in Madagascar. They start chatting to Lima, who is thirsty. She takes Zizi and the hungry Hannibal to the river. She takes them to the exotic food, Hannibal enjoys the food, he falls asleep. Zizi helps lima to leap.

S2 E11

At Gogo’s Zizi is struggling with a fly who is helping himself with cupcakes. She believes without flies there would be no disturbance. Zizi goes to the World of Wonders. They see a chocolate fountain, they eat. Hannibal is stuck in the chocolate mud and Zizi help him out. Hannibal feels sick from eating too much chocolate. They meet Busy Bee who takes them to a cocoa forest to see where chocolate comes from. They find no chocolate because there are no flies to pollinate the trees. Zizi is sorry for wishing them away.

S2 E12

Gogo is explaining to Zizi how the autumn leaves come about. Zizi is fascinated. Zizi is excited, choosing wool for Gogo to knit her a winter scarf. Gogo is telling Zizi that it’s okay to be different. In a rainbow forest Zizi and Hannibal meet Rainbow, a Yellow Billed Turaco who takes them on a journey to find the lone Okapi. Okapi is not happy to be likened with other animals, he is different, and he likes being himself.

S2 E13

Zizi is worried when some of her favorite clothes do not fit, she panics, and Gogo tells her it is because she is growing. Zizi does not want to grow. She likes her favorite clothes. Gogo tells her about growth and change. In the World of Wonders, after meeting Caterpillar and seeing her transform she is finally embracing change and is ready to get new clothes.
